After the success of CSIE Barcelona in 2019, we were excited to be back exhibiting. After some great success in recent years, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the industry, we were eager to meet new and existing contacts and this exhibition certainly didn’t disappoint!

The Reunion Party took place at indigo at The O2, it was the perfect start to the show. After 18 months of video calls, it was great to see people in real life, discussing the bounce back from the pandemic and the future of the cruise interiors industry.

The exhibition took place over two days at the Excel London. Elite Exhibitions organised a great event with over 200 exhibitors it was the perfect chance to catch up with old friends and develop new relationships within the industry. Customers who visited our stand were keen to learn more about our flooring products and what Forbo have to offer to improve onboard marine environments. Additionally, our impressive Flotex cleaning demonstrations caught visitors’ attention, removing red wine, baked beans, and tomato sauce, showcasing Flotex FR’s cleaning abilities.

To further demonstrate the cleaning ability of Flotex FR, visitors were asked to sign a Flotex FR sample with a permanent marker pen. At the end of the show, we then easily removed all signatures from half of the tile with just a small spray of detergent and cold water. Watch the video.

There were some great networking opportunities such as the designer’s breakfasts, VIP lunches and drinks reception, allowing interesting discussions surrounding the future of cruise interiors and sustainability. Furthermore, we had the chance to attend insightful conferences such as Trends Forecasting and Interior Design on Expedition Vessels, developing the teams’ knowledge on marine interior design.
