On Board with Well-being

At Forbo, we are truly on board with enhancing end-user well-being.

Earlier this month, Forbo Key Account Manager, Bob Summers featured in Railways Interiors International Magazine to comment on how light and colour-absorption impacts customer experience. In a recent blog post, we considered more generally how a passenger’s comfort level is an important determiner of satisfaction during their travelling experience.

It is a basic and well-known principle that safety and comfort affect well-being, it’s human nature. Feeling safe and comfortable are basic needs and whether you are talking about an accommodation container on an oil rig or rail vehicle vestibule, the same considerations apply.

But with increased ridership, it is getting harder to consistently maintain environments. Not only can aesthetics suffer on busy routes but cleanliness and hygiene factors are also affected too.
