We’ve been supplying IMO certified (and non IMO certified) floor coverings to the marine industry for many years now but this year was our first time exhibiting at SMM Hamburg. Not only did we want to learn more about the industry, but we also had an exciting new product to launch, Westbond FR – IMO certified carpet tiles.

Our sales and marketing teams headed to Hamburg to set up for the show. We had a modest sized stand but we think it looked great (If we do say so ourselves!). With our new Westbond FR carpet tiles laid in a checkerboard pattern and looking fantastic, we were ready to welcome visitors and share our product portfolio with them.

Overall the show went exceptionally well with people from around the globe visiting our stand. There was a great buzz around our new carpet tile range and our flocked flooring, Flotex FR. We learnt a lot and we’re looking forward to working with new and familiar faces on future projects. See you in 2018 at the next SMM. Here’s a few more photos from the show…
