Forbo Flooring introduces IMO carpet tiles to the Marine Industry

We’re pleased to introduce Westbond FR, an IMO certified wool carpet tile range, to the marine industry. We’ve been manufacturing Westbond for 33 years and we’re delighted to now be able to offer an IMO certified version.

This quality carpet tile range is offered in a 50cm x 50cm tile format for ultimate ease of installation on board seagoing vessels. With a thick and luxurious pile, Westbond FR is perfectly suited to many areas on board ships, including cabins, lounge/recreation areas, staff quarters, offices and shops.

Westbond FR is a custom made product and is available in 144 colours. If you’d prefer something unique, we can match yarns to Pantone references to complement your interior design scheme. Design flexibility doesn’t end here, Westbond FR is also available in our Flex design –  by mixing shades from the Westbond Colour collection, or from a custom colour of your choice, you can create your own custom designed Westbond Flex carpet tile to match your interiors perfectly.
