This year we decided to exhibit at Expo Ferroviaria for the first time. Italy is a huge market for rail with much opportunity and with this we set to work on organising our presence for the show.

The vision for the stand was ‘the widest portfolio of floor coverings for rail’ showcasing our diverse range of certified resilient and textile floor coverings. For the floor we chose to use Marmoleum Striato FR – a retro yet modern linear design to give a contemporary and sophisticated edge to the stand.

The stand was hosted by Transportation Key Account Manager – Frederic Lepron and General Manager for Forbo Flooring Italy, Sergio De Conto.

Our digitally printed, flocked floor covering, Flotex FR and our natural and sustainable resilient floor covering, Marmoleum FR were hot products at the show with lots of people look for alternatives to rubber flooring.

It was great to see new and familiar faces, including visits from Trenitalia and Hitachi. Overall the show had a fantastic atmosphere and was a real success for Forbo Flooring Transport. Thanks to all who visited us, we look forward to seeing you soon!
